Just Jhoom! is the brain chilld of classically-trained Indian dancer, Shalini Bhalla who has collaborated with dance, fitness and yoga professionals to create training programmes that allow her instructors to provide fun, dynamic fitness sessions to people from all walks of life!
Just Jhoom! is suitable for people of all ages and fitness levels and one class can provide and safe and fun exercise experience to a wide range of ages and abilities. However, I do offer three different formats of Just Jhoom! classes:
Just Jhoom! Fitness: Warm up, pulse-raiser, main workout of 7-9 routines, cool down. Continuous exercise similar to Zumba Fitness classes.
Perfect for those who want the focus of their class to be fitness.
Just Jhoom! Dance / Fitness: warm up, pulse-raiser, main workout of 4-5 routines, in-depth breakdown of one routine that focusses on hand and eye movements and performance skills, cool down.
Perfect for those who are keen to learn a bit more but still want a good workout.
Just Jhoom! Dance: warm up, pulse-raiser, main workout consists of learning one new dance in details each week followed by a cool down. A new dance is learned each week for four weeks while revisiting a previously week's dance. On the 5th week, all dance will be revisited.
Perfect for those who still want to learn but prefer to take things slow to start off !
